OUR ROOTS
In 1994, God gaciously sowed a seed in my heart.
A seed of His word revealing to me His plan and purpose for this season and my part in it. After this visitation, I noticed that my ability to understand and rightly divide the scriptures was supernaturally quickened. During this period, I penned down some of the light that was graciously brought to me, with the intention to publish it for the good of all.In February of 1995, while in the Redemption camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) with the executives of the Lagos Varsity Christian Union (LVCU), the Lord spoke expressly to me thus,“You have also a more sure word of prophecy where unto we do well that we give heed as unto a light that shineth in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star arise in our heart” 2Peter 1: 19Armed with this word, I commenced effort towards the printing of the first edition of A More Sure Word; fully persuaded it will be a blessing to everyone it will be shared with. By the 5th of August of 1995, the first edition of the publication was completed and ready for circulation. However on the eve of the dedication of this new publication, it became imperative that I would need to define to the people that would be present what precisely the publication is all about. The same night while praying, I heard God spoke to me thus,“The material to be dedicated is not the task you are called to fulfill, rather, it is a tool for the fulfillment of the task.”In my spirit, I ask the Lord, what then is the task? Almost immediately, I heard Him say to me,“This same shall give us rest (comfort us) concerning our work and the toil of our hands…” Genesis 5:29From that period, this seed has been kept under the shower of God’s Spirit and it has taken deep root, flourishing as abundantly as God has it in His mind.Without any doubt the events that has taken place in this ministry and my life between the days of the birth of this ministry and now is such as only God could have made possible. To Him alone be all the glory, now and forever and ever, Amen.
